We got our unit over a month ago and it works fantastic. The machine is simple to use and set up, plus the product design and build quality both seem solid. The app is simple to use and works well. The 2nd Generation version also informs of low food levels etc which was the main complaint I had seen about the original version. We have two cats sharing the same unit so we have regular schedule small feeds of 1/8th cup every 4 hours as snack food. They previously used to george themselves whenever we put any food out, but since they have got used to knowing a small snack happens often, they have actually lost weight as they know they can have a small snack throughout the day. We often end up tipping some biscuits back into the hopper if they have not eaten them all and another feeding is not far away. As they now get a 4am snack they no longer are waking us up to feed them early in the morning. It is good to know on the odd occasion when we don't get home early evening for their wet food meal, we can use the app to give them extra biscuits. I also like seeing the phone notification that they have been fed each time if dispenses biscuits. Overall a great product.

The unique design of the Smart Feed’s food conveyor dispenses most shapes and sizes of dry and semi-moist food while helping to prevent jams. Meals can be scheduled for up to 12 times daily in sizes from 1/8 cup to 4 cups per meal. The optional Slow Feed setting dispenses meals in small amounts over 15 minutes for pets who tend to eat too quickly.
